The Fine Print, In Plain English

What's covered — and what isn't

We'd rather you know this up front than find out during a claim. Here's a clear breakdown of what our warranty protects and what falls outside it.

Generally Covered

  • Premature rust-through under normal atmospheric conditions
  • Faulty workmanship on installations performed by our technicians
  • Defective regulators, relief valves, or gauges supplied by us, when installed by us
  • Leaks originating from a covered manufacturing or installation defect

Not Covered

  • Corrosion caused by improper drainage, standing water, or lack of maintenance
  • Modifications, repairs, or reinstallation performed by anyone other than a certified technician

Common Questions

Warranty FAQs

Do I need to register my tank for the warranty to be valid?
In most cases, no — if we deliver, exchange, or install your tank, your warranty is automatically recorded against your account and the tank's serial number. Keep your invoice and warranty certificate in a safe place as your proof of coverage.
Is the warranty transferable if I sell my property?
Yes, in most cases the remaining warranty term transfers to the new property owner. Contact our office with the new owner's information so we can update our records and confirm the remaining coverage period.
Does the warranty cover propane fuel itself or fuel delivery issues?
No. This warranty applies to the physical tank, its components, and our installation workmanship only. Fuel delivery scheduling and pricing are covered under your separate delivery agreement.
What voids my tank warranty?
Unauthorized repairs or modifications, relocation of the tank by someone other than a certified technician, neglecting recommended inspections, and damage from external events like impact or flooding can all void coverage. When in doubt, call us before you or anyone else touches the tank.
Who do I call if I smell gas or suspect a leak?
Leave the area immediately, avoid open flames or electrical switches, and call our 24/7 emergency line at (506) 805-1354 from a safe location. If you believe there is immediate danger, call 911 first.
