The Process

How Your Order Ships

From confirmation to delivery, here is exactly what happens to your propane reservoir.

  1. Day 0

    Order Confirmed

You'll receive an email confirming your order, tank specifications, and delivery address. This is also your chance to double-check site access details with our team.

  2. 1–3 Business Days

    Processing & Quality Inspection

Your reservoir is prepared, inspected for defects, and staged for freight pickup at our facility in The Nation, ON. Custom or large-volume orders may require additional preparation time; we'll notify you if that applies.

  3. Dispatch

    Freight Pickup

Once cleared, your reservoir is loaded with a licensed freight carrier. You'll receive a shipment confirmation with a tracking or reference number.

  4. 5–7 Business Days

    In Transit

Your reservoir travels by insured freight to your delivery address. Transit time is measured in business days from dispatch, not from order date.

  5. Final Step

    Delivery & Sign-Off

The carrier will call ahead to schedule a delivery window. Someone 18 or older must be present to inspect the reservoir and sign the Bill of Lading.

The Details

Processing Time & Transit Time

Two clocks run on every order: how long it takes us to prepare your reservoir, and how long the carrier takes to deliver it.

Processing Time: 1–3 Business Days

This is the time we need to prepare your reservoir before it leaves our facility.

  • Counted in business days, excluding weekends and statutory holidays
  • Includes final inspection, documentation, and freight staging
  • You'll receive an email the moment your order ships
  • Custom sizes or high-demand periods may extend processing slightly — we'll always let you know

Transit Time: 5–7 Business Days

This is how long the freight carrier typically takes once your reservoir leaves our yard.

  • Estimated from date of dispatch, not date of order
  • Applies to most locations across Canada
  • Rural, remote, or northern addresses may take longer due to carrier routing
  • Weather and seasonal road conditions can affect delivery windows

Estimated total time from order to delivery is typically 6–10 business days. These are carrier-reported estimates, not guarantees — call us at (506) 805-1354 if your delivery is time-sensitive and we'll help plan around it.

Delivery Day

Preparing Your Site for Freight Delivery

Propane reservoirs are large and heavy freight. A little preparation keeps delivery day quick and damage-free.

  • Clear, accessible access Make sure the delivery route can accommodate a full-size freight truck and trailer.

  • Level, stable ground Your reservoir should be delivered to firm, level ground at the final placement location where possible.

  • Unloading equipment ready Standard freight delivery is curbside/tailgate. If you need liftgate or offloading assistance, arrange it with us in advance.

  • Someone present, 18+ An adult must be on-site to inspect the reservoir and sign the delivery paperwork.

  • Inspect before signing Check the reservoir for shipping damage while the carrier is present, and note anything on the Bill of Lading.

  • Confirm your address Double-check the delivery address and best contact number so the carrier can reach you to schedule the window.
