Clear, Secure & Straightforward Payment Terms
We believe an informed customer is a confident customer. Below you'll find exactly how payments, deposits, and invoicing work when you purchase or lease a propane tank or reservoir from us.
Our Commitment to Payment Transparency
At Propane Reservoirs, we sell and supply propane tanks and reservoirs to homeowners, farms, and businesses across Ontario. Because every installation is different — tank size, site preparation, delivery distance, and equipment — our payment policy is designed to protect both you and our team while keeping the process simple from quote to completion.
This page explains the payment methods we accept, when payment is due, how deposits work, and what to expect on invoices. If anything below is unclear, our team is always happy to walk you through it before you commit to an order.

How Payment Works, Step by Step
Get a Quote
We assess your propane needs and provide a clear, written quote with no obligation.
Confirm Your Order
Once you approve the quote, we schedule your delivery or installation date.
Deposit (If Applicable)
Custom orders and larger tanks may require a deposit to secure scheduling and materials.
Final Payment
The balance is due upon completion of delivery or installation, before or at time of service.
Deposits & Payment Timing
Payment timing depends on the type of order. Here is a general overview; your quote will always confirm the exact terms for your specific project.
| Order Type | Deposit Required | Balance Due |
|---|---|---|
| Standard tank purchase | Not typically required | At delivery or pickup |
| Custom or special-order tanks | Deposit required to place order | Balance due before delivery |
| Installation services | May require partial deposit | Balance due upon job completion |
| Approved commercial accounts | Not required (credit-approved) | Per agreed invoice terms |
Please note: Deposit amounts and due dates will always be clearly stated on your written quote or order confirmation before any payment is requested. We never process a deposit or payment without your explicit approval.
Invoicing & Receipts
Every order includes a detailed, itemized invoice showing the tank or service purchased, applicable taxes, delivery charges (if any), and total amount due. Receipts are provided at the time of payment, either printed or by email, for your records and warranty purposes.
Taxes
All applicable federal and provincial taxes (GST/HST) are calculated and clearly displayed on your quote and invoice in accordance with Canadian tax regulations.
Currency
All pricing, quotes, and invoices are issued in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
Payment Security
Protecting your financial information is a top priority. Card payments processed in person or by phone are handled through secure, PCI-compliant payment terminals. We do not store full credit card numbers on file, and e-Transfer payments are processed directly through your own financial institution's secure network.
We will never: ask you to send payment via gift cards, cryptocurrency, or wire transfer to an unfamiliar account. If you ever receive a suspicious payment request claiming to be from Propane Reservoirs, please contact us directly at (506) 805-1354 to confirm before paying.
Late Payments & Order Changes
We understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule delivery, modify an order, or discuss a payment timeline, please contact our team as early as possible so we can work with you.
Outstanding balances: Accounts with an overdue balance may be subject to a hold on future deliveries or services until the account is brought current. We will always contact you directly before taking this step.
